The following guidelines have been set forth by the State of Maine to ensure the health & safety of those participating in outdoor recreation during COVID-19.
Casco Bay Kayak must operate in accordance with these guidelines, and has pledged to do so.

• Visitors from outside Maine must follow the Keep Maine Healthy plan. Effective June 26, people who are not Maine, New Hampshire Vermont, Connecticut, New Jersey or New York residents, must have received a negative COVID-19 test result that meets the Keep Maine Healthy requirements or they must have already completed their 14 day quarantine in Maine.
• During Phase 2, all clients should be from the same household unless they can comply with current standards for number of people and physical distancing.
• Payment must be made through on-line tools.
• Under no circumstances should a client or employee participate in a guided trip if they show signs of illness.
• Clients should provide their own water bottles, sunscreen, and insect repellent.
• Guides and clients must wear face coverings during on-shore trip preparations, and can remove them once on the water. Disposable masks are available if needed.
• Maintain physical distancing of 6 feet between individuals to the degree possible.
• All equipment will be sanitized using a EPA registered product after each trip.
• Only the guide's equipment will be used for demonstration purposes.
• Equipment provided for client use such life jackets, paddles, dry bags, etc., will be sanitized before and after use.
• Should a client become ill on a guided trip, EMS or the US Coast Guard will be consulted for immediate guidance.
• Overnight trips are allowed as part of phase 2 and in accordance with the remote camping and applicable restaurant guidelines.
